Apache Upgrade 2.2.3

hi when i install centos-5-i386-afull with my console hyper vm then after install lxadmin control panel
apache is 2.2.3
php is 5.2.1 and oher are old

how can upgrade 2.2.3 centos to 2.2.8
plz help step by step withput yum

You want to upgrade apache 2.2.3 to 2.2.8? Well, yum update or yum upgrade should do this for you but it also depends on if the repositories you are using have this version. Check the versions it reports back. If you can't find a repository, then download it and install manually.
