apache: my website runs only on localhost, what changes on httpd.conf?

I've installed apache webserver, and loaded my site there, but I can only access my website on that local webserver machine, when I'm on other machines on the LAN, I can't access the website. the bind configuration on httpd.conf is set to listen on port 80, what changes should I make on httpd.conf so that my website can be accessed thru LAN?

Regards,

What does netstat -lnt | grep 80 show?

It sounds more likely that you have packet filtering (probably at the host level) blocking you.

Do you have a firewall that blocks all incoming requests installed on the server (where you have installed Tomcat i.e.)?

If yes - this could be the issue.

Debian Kernel

True! My firewall was by default blocking incoming http requests, I edited the rule and now I can access the website

Thanks
