Apache mod_proxy, problem with forms

I am using Apache mod_proxy to proxy a website on my LAN ( I have the following settings for which everything works fine. When someone accesses, it proxies

ProxyPass /
I would like to change this to do the following.
1. If someone accesses then is shown.
2. If someone accesses then the domain is proxied.

Is it possible to do this?

I tried changing the entry to

ProxyPass /proxy/
This is not working when the proxied website ( has html forms being submitted. Am I doing something wrong here?

Change to

ProxyPass /proxy/  http://<Internal IP of LANwhere you hosted site>
or else in /etc/hosts/

Internal IP of LANwhere you hosted site

I tried putting the LAN IP in ProxyPass. It did not help.
