apache 2.0.52 and mod_ssl?
Hi,
Heres the setup. Default redhat es 4 install. Installed everything. Running apache 2.0.52. OpenSSL is installed and working on the server. mod_ssl is nowhere to be found on the machine. How do I go about making ssl work on this http server. The latest mod_ssl is for apache1.3 so I'm completely lost. If anyone can point me to a reference to make ssl work with the apache version I'm running would be good. Or if you can tell me what I need to get it to work, I'm sure I can hack it together. I just am having a hell of a time trying to figure how to get started here. THanks, |
Here was part of the problem. mod_ssl is an extra install from redhat. If you are a registered up2date user, you can just do up2date mod_ssl and it installs all your stuff with out to much fuss.
