am I mbox or maildir?

Hi,

I've setup Postfix and Dovecot, and it all seems to work ok. I was wondering whether I'm using mbox or maildir though, as I don't seem to be able to work out which I've set up!

Does anyone know how I can check?

Thanks

Mbox would be a single file that contains all the users email, with each message separated by a blank line. Maildir on the other hand stores messages in individual files (i.e. 2 messages = 2 files)

Thanks, that was helpful. I appear to be using mbox.
