Red face All of the server memory 4 GB ram used; redhat 2.6.9; samba server 3.0! Help.

Hi, Please no new linux users responses!!!

My server is a Dell 1800 with a dualcore processor.
I bumped up the server from 2 GB Ram to 4 GB Ram.
The problem is that i do not see what is over-using all of my memory;
even though most of the samba users are not logged in and it is 2am in the morning. The information below is displayed with 8 users logged into samba domain.
Please only serious responses.
Let me know if you need more information. I will provide as much as I can without compromizing the security.

I am running a samba1 server only.

Linux galadriel 2.6.9-55.0.2.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue Jun 12 17:59:08 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Version: Samba version 3.0.10-1.4E.12.2

here are the outputs:

There is likely nothing wrong at all. By design, Linux uses all available RAM all the time. From what you've posted, you're not really using swap so unless there are other signs of a problem, this is just Linux behaving normally.

Thank You very much. For the information.
Another question. How would I find what the actual usage is?
(meaning all of the services runing together currently/ how much RAM are they using);
