After new install on HP DL120 G6 - Screen is blank with a blinking cursor

I have reinstalled the OS a couple times now. Not sure what else to check.(noobie)

Its on a RAID 1 controller, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.

Any suggestions would be VERY helpful.

Also, im running Red Hat 5 enterprise server - its going to be a web server.

Sounds like a video driver issue. Try doing a minimal installation without the GUI.

If that works you can see if another driver exists for your card.
