advanced proxy Local authentication alway ask for username and password

im using ipcop 1.4.16 with advanced proxy in Section Authentication method I choosed Local authentication the problem is every time i open new microsoft internet explorer keep asking me for user name and password what should i do to make it ask the user only one time
please help

firefox works fine only at first time you have to inter your user id and password and never ask you again put with microsoft internet explorer you most inter your user id and password every time you hit the explorer can anyone help please .
