Ok one more question then i think i have everything running nice and smoothly. I'm using ISPConfig to add multiple websites to apache. This all works great and the appropriate folder is created in /var/www for each site. I then add a user in ISPConfig and that creates an FTP user for me which is great but...

I'm pretty much going to be setting up all the sites so rather than have to log in to each sites FTP i'd like to create an account that would just allow me in to /var/www I'm using proftpd.

If anyone could help that'd be great.

Don't suppose anyone has any idea on this do they? been trawling for ages. I think i need to add a user to /var/www but i need them to be able to edit all folders and files in there. Also if i do add that user what would my ftp address be? Presumably just ip address?
