access samba mounted share from client

Scenario:
-A RHEL5 server which mounts a public share from NAS
-fstab has an entry to mount this share on server
-there are other users using RHEL remotely with their own account name.

Requirement:
all other user should be allowed write access to that share on server.

So far i have managed to mount the share, but only root is allowed with read/write access.
other user can simply use it as read only share.

Any input is welcome.
Thanks in advance

You have to make changes in the /etc/samba/smb.conf on the server, then you have to restart the samba service.

Remote pc has openfiler, with a public share, that limits me to access its web administration instead the config file itself.

I want to mount it(public share) over RHEL machine through /etc/fstab, so that all user in RHEL machine could access it.

I am quite acquainted with samba, so any solution or hint is welcomed.

Thanks.
