Access permission in Samba

Hi all,

I'm new with Samba and have access problem with Samba on Rhel 5. I want to share iso directory, and user admin can read and write while user bill can read only. smb.conf file looks like this

#======================= Global Settings =====================================

[global]

workgroup = CORP
security = SHARE
load printer = No
default service = global
available = no
encript password =yes

#---------------------- ISO directory Access ----------------------------------------

[iso]
path = /iso
valid users = admin, bill
writable = no
force user = admin
read list = bill, admin
write list = admin
available = yes

Howerver, when map from windows machine, both admin and bill cannot write.
Anyone could help please?

Thanks

One more thing, I did changed the iso directory's write permission to admin and if I change writeable = yes in .conf file, both users admin and bill can write. What I want is only admin can write, bill can not.

Thanks

AFAIK this is not possible with share level security.
You will need to switch to security = user and add a samba user.
