About installing ISPConfig

Hi folks,

Ubuntu 7.04 server amd64
webmin
usermin

I need to install ISPConfig on the captioned mail server and could not find the package on repo NOR relevant tutorial on googling. Please advise whether it is not available on repo. I have to install it on;

http://www.ispconfig.org/

where can I find its installation manual?

The necessity installing ISPConfig is to follow;

http://www.howtoforge.com/roundcube_webmail_ispconfig

their steps to make roundcube to work. I have it running here but can't make it to work.

TIA

I guess it's been long enough w/ 0 replies to jump in w/ some less than ideal suggestions. . . .
Since everything I found was, at or started at www.ispconfig.org, I wonder if I missed something. I find it hard to believe that someone w/ as many LQ posts as you would need the hints below. At the risk of offending you w/ their simplicity, here they are:

The installation manual seems to be here.

The only download seems to be this.

I checked for *buntu packages w/
Code:

apt-get -s install ispconfig
apt-get -s install ISPConfig

Neither found a 6.06 ("Dapper Drake") package. ISPConfig says they support both "6.06 (Dapper Drake)" & "7.04 (Feisty Fawn)", so if there's no 6.06 package, I think it's safe to assume there's no 7.04 package either.

I checked for Debian packages w/
Quote:

deb:ispconfig
deb:ISPConfig
in the Konqueror address (aka "Location" box). Result: 2 x "Sorry, your search gave no results".

My conclusion: this package is only available as a tar ball -- there are no repositories.

Finally, I'm curious -- why RoundCube Webmail rather than say Squirrel Mail? What are the advantages?

Thanks for your advice.

I have webmin and usermin running here. Ispconfig may be conflict with them.

Just to find an alternative. Besides previous I can't make "change password" to work on SM. I need using usermin to do the job. Now I solve the problem. I can change password direct on SM withouit usermin. So there is no urgent need to find an alternative.

Thanks again for your assistance.
