Able to log all email requests sent via SMTP AUTH?

I'm running Fedora Core 6 with Sendmail 8.13.8 and have recently turned on SMTP AUTH. I have it working; it's accepting messages just fine. However, there have been reports that some random messages are not going to their intended recipients. I can see no rhyme nor reason for this to occur, but it is.

I've noticed that /var/log/maillog is not logging many messages sent via smtp auth. For example, I sent about a dozen emails yesterday, but only two exist in the /var/log/maillog file. Is there a way to get the system to log everything, so I can see if there are issues/errors/etc?
