At the same time, if you guys have good link for ownCloud security, it would be great :). I use ownCloud ONLY to make user share file with poeple outside of our network (In https of course). (Sorry for my english by the way). Thanks a lot. |

Thanks for the answer.
I don't understand how ownCloud manage groups and I don't understand what admin groups is. For instance, I created a group call "users". Okay, cool, now what... !? The wierd thing is there NOTHING about "groups" in the documentation and this is why i'm asking here my question... Hope it helps and thanks for your helps! |
It seems to be that they have explicitly modeled the security after the Linux example.
Make a non-god-mode group. Make a god-mode group. Added regular-joe account to and from both and test each. Create a "remote" group and transfer "employees". It can be amusing. |
Humm what?

No, i'm sorry I don't understand!
Why is there group when I have no way to mange them?? What the h*** is admin group?? |
How was it installed? apt-get or a manual install?
"You’ve probably noticed that the latest ownCloud now includes a Group Admin feature. We added this feature so admins could create users to manage the membership in one or many groups. Now, group admins have the same user management rights as administrators over a specified group, with the exception that they can’t access system settings. And, of course, they can’t override corporate directory usernames and passwords." says this link |
