[Autodir] Can't import user from LDAP

Hi guys,

I have authenticated vsftpd against LDAP but it doesn't create home directory for ftp client login.I have used solution autodir for this but I can't import ldap user.

From Autodir Howto

Quote:
Importing user and group accounts
If user and group accounts reside in centralized database these must be imported before starting Autodir. How to do this is out of scope of this HOWTO. But there are number of documents which explain how to do this in clear manner.

Sorry for my bad english,

Thanks in advanced,

I'm no expert with this but I would think that you need to configure this in the pam.d
configuration. Do you have an /etc/pam.d/vsftpd file? If so we would need to see
that and also the other relevant config files.

I used solution pam_mkhomedir but it didn't run.So I have to use Autodir.

This is file /etc/pam.d/vsftpd

Quote:
auth sufficient pam_ftp.so
auth sufficient pam_unix.so
auth required pam_ldap.so

account sufficient pam_ldap.so
account required pam_unix_acct.so

session sufficient pam_ldap.so
session required pam_unix_session.so

session required pam_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel umask=0022
Thanks,
