Worm.SomeFool.Q

when i was scanning the thunderbird directories with clamscan i get this message

.../Inbox: Worm.SomeFool.Q Found

other than removing the Inbox itself is there anyway to rid the Inbox of the virus...

I have checked all messages in the inbox but cant find any messages with suspicious attachments as i always delete them...

Thanks in advance....

Somefool.Q == netsky.Q

So you can identify it with those properties: .exe, .pif, .scr, or .zip attachments. Symantecs write-up even lists an md5sum, though I'm not sure if that is for the UPX compressed attachment or not.

Deleting messages doesn't rid you of a virus in Inbox. You need to right-click inbox and select "compact this folder".
