What to do About Slackware Security Patches?
Well with Pat basically out of commission at least until he gets better, what should Slack users do to keep their systems up to date with patches?
Not having someone maintining the tree makes me nervous, I hope he can make some patches again soon.

Keep a close eye on any security releases, if you see one with a particular package that is installed in the current or other releases, try checking a site called www.linuxpackages.net for any updates or just download the source and install by those means, create your own package after installing

I read somewhere that a couple of people are taking on the security patches on Pat's behalf - read the changelog, I think it's posted there.
