If this is, like your previous threads, about requirement 10 of the PCI-DSS then maybe you could have a look at this and this explanation of the ability to reconstruct a range of events tied to cardholder information. If it OTOH is not about PCI-DSS, then I'll echo what's been said already: audit trail of *what*? I've reminded you before to be specific about things.
