Unhappy What are Linux Based IPS/ IDS devices and their functions ?


Hi,

I am new to these IPS/IDS devices. My job is to monitor the bandwidth of these IPS devices.
I can monitor the IPS device only with the help of SNMP parameters.

Somebody help me. I need it badly. These are linux based IPS devices.
PLEASE HELP !!!!
