From the FAQ (at least included with the source tarball):

Q) Can I restrict users to their home directories?
A) Yes. You are probably after the setting:
chroot_local_user=YES

Changing the chroot folder

I have chrooted my vsftpd installation with the chroot_list_enable command, and it works fine. The problem is that i want the root to be /home, not /home/user-name . How can i define what the chroot wil set as rootfolder?

//moderator note: Dionysos, since you've only got 2 posts no your name I'd like to take this opportunity to ask you to post questions or any stuff that do not relate to the original post in a separate thread.
Btw, since you already posted your question in your own thread I may elect to consider this to be cross-posting, but I won't, for now.

//moderator note: rosko, please refrain from giving false information, even if it was meant jocularly, even if it is obviously wrong. Wanna muck around? then head over to the general forum...

Anyway. Since this question is already answered I'll close the thread.
