VSFTP Virtual users

bonjour,

auth required /lib/security/pam_userdb.so db=/etc/vsftpd_login
account required /lib/security/pam_userdb.so db=/etc/vsftpd_login

Crash, please don't make comments-only posts in this forum.
Btw did you know one of the anagrams for your name is "A Gin Hardcase". Spose I'll count that as mitigating circumstances then :-]

Can you write in english?

Do you mean to copy /etc/pam.d/vsftp to /etc/pam.d/ftp , don't you ?

Yes dominant, you are correct. What I meant was

cd /etc/pam.d/
cp vsftp ftp

I dont do the french thing myself either, and was just kinda guessing
at what the problem was based on the 1 semester of it I had 30 years ago....

I do know I had to do the above copy to get virtual users working right with
vsftp.
