Yes you probably can, but you have to know where to look. It can be a script run from the /etc, etc/init.d/ or /etc/rc.d/ directory called 'iptables" "firewall" or something like that.

We all would like to help you (even in the wrong forum, ok), but you have got to give us some more information.
