Angry Upgrading RedHat 7.3 to 9.0


Does anybody know how to upgrade my redhat 7.3 kernel to a 9.0 kernel? I dont know how to do it and it is my first time running RedHat on my computer and I will need some instructions on how to do it.

If you have the kernel as an rpm then all that you should need to do is execute "rpm -Uvh kernel-rpm-file-name.rpm" and that should do the trick.
