Question Tripwire error

I heard that it was a good idea to install tripwire, so I downloaded, installed, and set it up. However, when doing the last step of configuration (tripwire -m i to initialize the database), I get the following output:

Code:
Parsing policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol
Generating the database...
*** Processing Unix File System ***
Software interrupt forced exit: Segmentation Fault
I assume this is something that can't be easily resolved, so, if it's not, is there any easy way to uninstall it?

Thanks.

If your distro uses a capable package manager then it should easy :-]
If you still have the compile tree, try "make uninstall".
If you know the date, try finding files with an m/ctime of that date.
Else compile, do "make -n install 2>&1|tee /tmp/installer.log" and unravel the script.
