Tripwire 2.4.0
Hello....
Quick question. I installed Tripwire 2.4.0 on an FC3 machine. But now i wish to downgrade to the 2.3.1 version.
How do i go about uninstalling this IDS?
PS: I did not initialize the database or change anything.
Thanx

can't you do a simple "rpm -e tripwire-2.4.0" to uninstall (erase) it and then do a "rpm -ivh tripwire-2.3.1.rpm"?
Please do a "man rpm" to confirm the -e option. Also find out how you can list the rpms installed. I think it is "rpm -q --all | grep -i tripwire". Use the output of the list as the second argument to uninstall.
hope that helps,
Prasad

there should be a 'make clean' or a 'make uninstall'...
