Testing a security setup

I have just set up a firewall on my machine, and I was wondering if there was a program out there that can probe my machine for any vulnerabilities. It doesn't have to be something that detects everything and anything, but something that detects most vulnerabilities and/or the most common ones. Thanks in advance.

Go to Gibson Research and try Sheilds Up! This runs from their server.

You can install Nessus and get a much more comprehensive report.

You can always post your IP and I'm sure someone will test your firewall for you! Just kidding.
