system-config-securitylevel no longer allows me to add ports to allow.

I am running FC5 with SELinux enabled (In permissive mode). I have been trying to add port 10000 to the 'other ports' section of system-config-securitylevel (called Security Level and Firewall in the menu). It allows me to add the port and upon exit it asks me if I want to save the changes. However, when I go to use the port or re-run system-config-securitylevel, the port is not added.

It has never done this before recently (I have successfully added ports before). Am I doing something wrong, is the program just not working? Any help in resolving this problem would be most appreciated.

What version are you running? Current is:

$ rpm -q system-config-securitylevel
system-config-securitylevel-1.6.16-2

If that's the current version then that's what I am running (meaning that I checked the version numbers and they match).

OK, according to various reported bugs in bugzilla, this is corrected in the update in testing. You can install it on FC5 with:

Code:
yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update system-config-securitylevel*

Unfortunately either they were talking about a different bug, it isn't the program that is messing up, or I am doing something really stupid that I can't pin down.

Can you recommend a different firewall frontend that I can use until s-c-securitylevel starts working again?

EDIT: I disabled and then re-enabled the firewall. It deleted all the settings I had and is now allowing me to add ports (I had expected this behavior after doing some reading and so took notes on which ports I wanted to keep).
