Syslog crond session log

I have a central sys log server and for some reason I am seeing a lot of these entries from some servers but not others.

Apr 12 21:03:01 server crond[3895]: pam_unix(crond:session): session opened for user root by (uid=0)

The servers that are not reporting this has crons that run ever minture and I do not see anything in syslog message. I do see an entry in /var/log/cron.

Any ideas?

Probably misconfiguration. Granted, (r)syslog(-ng) does distribute cron (PAM stack) messages but they usually are logged in /var/log/cron and not somewhere else.
