Could you give me tips or even suggestions, for a server or just a monitoring tool that will alert me whenever there is a syn flood or a broadcast storm on my LAN? right now im just using cacti and nagios for our servers, our LAN desktops are XP and win 7, really need your help.

hi

Thanks for the reply but I was thinking that it would be like a monitoring server that sniffs info like syn floods, bandwidth usage per peers, network loads, and that will alert me or can notify me on email. Please anyone who has any suggestions

Regards
-Nico
