Surcurity hard disk

my server is runnung CenOS 4.3. This server will entrust custommer to running their services. I want custommer can not access data or change the service in this server.

I don't give password root to customer
I destroy the singe mode. user can not use the Singe mode for access data

But another way, the customer can move the harddisk and start it form another device(harddisk,Floppy ,CD). I
consulted meny way in web.But I can not find any proper method.

please to help me.

i would never remove runlevel 1 though, instead use a bootloader password which means they can not get into that runelvel at all.
