su, sudo and keyloggers

As far as I understand, su and sudo commands are to give some privileges only to authorised persons. But, it is not difficult to write a non-root keylogger (isn't it?), why then they (especially sudo) were created, if some worms etc. could just listen to keyboard input and then just send passwords to the person who created them?
Main question:
How can i limit keyboard access to only one process (su or sudo) when i enter some password? Or, maybe these critical processes already do this?

There's a difference between 'su' and 'sudo': run 'apropos' or read the man page. They are not in use, nor were they created to thwart keyloggers. If you're suspecting keyloggers you shouldn't be looking for a workaround (symptoms) but address integrity of the machine (root cause), IMHO.
