Stop attacks from an IP

Hi!

I have a fedora core 5 linux.
Someone is trying to break into my server through SSH.
He tested thousands of possible usernames. The attack didn't come to anything, anyway I'd like to protect myself denying multiple attacks from the same IP.

If someone inserts the wrong username and/or password for 5 times, I want my server not to accept connections from his IP for 60 minutes. Is there a way a can do it?

You'll see a great post, made sticky, at the top of this forum:
"Failed SSH login attempts"
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=340366
You'll find it very useful!
