Im having trouble getting apache to work with SSL.
i created my by doing this.
1)I made a directory called key and made my keys in there
2)openssl genrsa -des3 -out server.key 1024
3)openssl rsa -in server.key -out server.pem
4)openssl req -new -key server.key -out server.csr
5)openssl x509 -req -days 60 -in server.csr -signkey server.key -out server.crt
I then copied the server.crt and server.key to /etc/apache/ssl.key and /etc/apache/ssl.crt
I then started the apache server by using apachectl startssl and it started fine.
but when i go to
https://192.168.0.5 it doesnt work but
http://192.168.0.5 works and i get the default apache page.
also when i start the apache server it didnt ask me for the passphrase isnt it supposed too?
Btw this is on slackware 9
any help would be great
