Is there any SPAM/anti-virus linux e-mail filtering system that can be used with a MS exchange?

Can you use the exchange connector with Evolution, then pipe through amavis/clam/spamassassin?

I have to read up on Evolution. I am not really a fan of clam AV for it does not have a realtime scanner to catch something that comes in rigth away. You have to schedule a scan and I dont like the fact that it does not give you the option to disinfect, you have to quarantine, delete, and or rename.

If you pass a file to clamscan, it scans it right then. If that is beyond your capabilities then perhaps you should stick with Windows/Norton.

That functionality is already in Evolution. From http://krath.dk/linux/evolution_spamfilter/
Quote:
Select "Filters..." from the "Tools" menu in the tool bar. Then choose "Add." Write a decent name for the filter. Then beneath the "If" choose Add and select "Pipe Message to Shell Command." In the field to the right type in the command...

In case you were wondering what it should look like
