I've a problem with my qmail server. I want to run Sophie 3.03 on it but it just won't work.My server runs on a 2.2.18 kernel.
Every time I try to run my Sophie it comes with two different error messages.
The first one is when I run Sophie in /root. The message sounds likes this:
" NOTICE : Sophie configuration file is not specified - falling back in defaults."
" ERROR : Could not open any Sophie configuration file"
This one is clear to me, because I didn't specify a configuration file. He can't find one because there is none in the root directory.
But when I specify the configuration file like this
" sophie -C /path/to/sophie.cfg
Sophie comes with an error like this:
" ERROR : bind () failed in main () [Address already in use]
Sophie comes with an error like this:
" ERROR : bind () failed in main () [Address already in use]
What is wrong?
Means the port was already in use, probably by a running copy of Sophie. Check with netstat. If you're using an init script use "restart", else first kill the running copy.
