Question small problem with nmap


Hi !

I am having a small problem with nmap.

Itring to scan a host in my net to see if pcanywhere port is open (port 5631)

but I recive an error massege :

[root@juanlin1 root]# nmap -sS -sV -P0 -PT [5631] 192.168.1.4

Starting nmap 3.50 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2004-01-26 17:36 IST
Target host specification is illegal.
QUITTING!

what am I doing wrong ?

try -PT5631, althought I always remember specifying port with -p, i.e. -p 5631

yes, try what chort said about -p
nmap -sS -sV -P0 -p 5631 192.168.1.4
