Sleuth & other tools for bios virus

Some viruses claim to be able to infect the bios. I was
running Windows XP and got MyDoom and who knows what else.
Two motherboards are behaving differently now even when
I use knoppix or Penguin Sleuth without a hd. So a bios
infection is a possibility. Are there utilities in
Penguin Sleuth which would help me find out?

If you know, please give me a simple howto so that I could
save what is now in my bios to a san cruzer usb drive
in order to scan for virus and compare it with the
bios offered by the mb?

Thanks,
Suguru

None I know of in PSK or FIRE, but then again I've never done forensics to the level of having needed BIOS extraction... I would turn to the MB manufacturers' tools first as they usually have tools for extracting and flashing BIOS.
