We recently tried to implement a password lifetime of 45 days. The script I wrote worked well. Unfortunately, those passwords that were already more than 45 days old were instantly expired, and those users were caught un-prepared.
I was wondering if there was any way to undo the password lifetime changes, and make the passwords not expire any more.
'passwd -x 0', maybe?
