Security

Hey guys been awhile but I have a question to ask on security I'm running W7 sorry but I have a steam and it won't play linux platforms but I'm looking at securing my windows or dual booting a linux along side I have been using Ubuntu and a little Mint can you help what distro would be good when I was using Ubuntu I alway used the software center app and would download the UFW firewall and always have it on for my own safety I learned not to use sudo command too much because of secruity threats if that true I though with linux and admin password you safe but if it wasn't for my games I'd be full linux seem to run smoother then Windows I hated that not responding crap as linux you don't get that just do updates and thats it

thanks guys

Furthermore you already created 4 threads about Linux distributions and dual booting and online banking. You've gotten a fair share of replies so that makes me wonder what your actual question is here? And what is the perceived security angle? BTW this forum isn't for securing Windows.
