Securing Konqueror

I'd like to be able to lock down Konqueror so students can use it, but only for basic file management. Web browsing could be allowed. However, I want to remove the navigation panel, the ability to set konqueror backgrounds, etc. Is anyone aware of a guide to the options that can be set in konquerorrc, or is there another way to lock down konq? Thanks.

If you are trying to create some kind of "kiosk" type setup, then I would highly recommend using one of the specialized kiosk-distros that are designed for that exact purpose rather than makinking a home-brew setup. Trying to lock down a interface can be a real challenge especially if your users are reasonably linux-savy.
