" Secure Boot Violation " Help !!

Was going over some old links while using Chrome, dont normal use chrome, and all of a sudden I got this annoying female voice saying press.. something, crap cant recall, the screen was stuck on a supposed windows site and says my key expired and call this number. Couldn't get out of the screen so shut down the machine, on boot up it still went to the screen and that annoying voice, pulled the plug and waited for a while, got this pop up, continued on to normal login and came her direct to see what I can do before something else potentially is going to happen.
Thanks!

Then try to reset the bios manually - have a look at the mainboard manual for that.
Does del key work?

by "chrome" you mean chromeos?
so this is supposedly some tablet running on chromeos?
some more info on that?
otherwise, how can we give better advice than what was already given?

Google Chrome
Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I got into bios with DEL, reset defaults, not getting the message now, still want to reset bios if I can.
I have a A88xm-A/USB3.1 Bios 0309, so will try and find a replacement to download.

Thanks!
I found A88XM-A-USB31-ASUS-0309 and installed it.
That link forwarded me to the product page, just flashed the page and then moved on to https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/A88XMA/.

Any idea what happened? Virus on old page I visited? thought could do that with Linux.

This was the false Bios, but you should reflash the Bios.

Download of Bios: https://www.asus.com/de/Motherboards...HelpDesk_BIOS/
