Samba full log details


Hi Guys,

I want to know how to audit samba user action by log. I mean how to create a log file to monitor our samba user actions like create delete copy paste....etc...

Start by reading the Samba documentation, or any of the easily-found references about setting log levels:
http://oreilly.com/openbook/samba/book/ch04_08.html
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/using_samba/ch12.html

If those things don't provide you with what you need, you'll have to write scripts which will probably use inotify, to monitor the directories for activity.
