Running SquirrelMail with safe_mode = on

Hi all,
safe_mode = off(php.ini) is a general practice. But some of us (Web Hosting Companies) are using safe_mode = on to make sure that the users do not move to the places where they should not.

Turning the safe_mode = on will stop SquirrelMail from logging in and sending emails from its GUI.

Here is the code where I have turned the safe_mode = on for the SquirrelMail folders. Here what you should do....

SquirrelMail has to use SMTP in order to send email.

In the httpd.conf put these lines
#
# SquirrelMail in Safe Mode
#

<Directory /usr/share/squirrelmail>
php_admin_flag safe_mode off
</Directory>

<Directory /var/lib/squirrelmail>
php_admin_flag safe_mode off
</Directory>

Please let me know if anyone has any better idea or any comments.
