Restrict User to FTP Only

I have created a user "kcs" as a new Linux user, primary group "kcs", secondary group "ftp".

I would like to restrict this user to use only the ftp port 21, and restrict access to just one directory, so that they can upload files to this directory only, but not access any other directory.

I'm afraid I'm a bit confused as to how to achieve this. If anyone could kindly point me in the right direction, I'd be most grateful.
