I need to implement a method of allowing complete newbie users to shutdown a linux box remotely. I realise this is contradictory to all sensibilities, but these are offsite boxes that sometimes need to be powered off. I've not been able to come up with a workable solution, as I really don't want to compromise the root password. There has to be a simple way that I just haven't heard of. Help!? :) Any info very muchly appreciated.
