Reliable Proxy Checking

I plan on installing mandrake powerpack 10.1 (am waiting in the post for it to arrive) and i have a quick question does AAtools proxy checker currently work or is there anyway to get it to work on linux.

As i have heard there are windows emulators, do these work ok with AAtools.

If not are there any programs for linux which would do the same job to the level of accuracy and professionalism as AAtools does. (I dont mind paying if its good)

Thanks
Anthony
