reiserfs file undelete

Hi there,

I copied a file using scp to my /root and printed it. The next morning the file gone without any trace.
I checked my .bash_history, there's no command that could remove my file. Is there any way to undelete my file. I'm using reiserfs filesystem.

Is it possible to have your file disappear without trace without any error or warning ?

If you shut down the system messily I've found with reiserfs
that sometimes a recent file gets lost.

that's all i know i'm afraid!
