reg loop back adapater


hi

this is anil, my system is linux 7.1 redhat, when i am booting it shows lo up , but not pings , if down the lo and use the
command ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1 up , it working fine , when the system boot why it is not working

The file " /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-lo" controls the loop dev. Try changing the parameter "ONBOOT=yes" then reboot the system.
