Redirects to SSL connections
I've always wondered this so thought I'd make a quick post. Most secure sites I've visited forward you to a https URL before signing in. A few, however, have you sign in from a http URL, which then forwards you to a secure page. All of these say that the connection and log in process is secure. Is there a difference between the two methods? I've never felt safe entering passwords on a connection that doesn't seem to be SSL yet.
