I am having a problem encrypting my entire partitions/hard disk in suse 9.3.
I have read the manuals and it still seems vague to me.
If there is anyone who can give me a diagram to this i would be grateful.
here is what I am looking to do if possible. I Am looking to encrypt my entire hard drive or entire partition(s) for maximum security since i have a laptop and travel alot. The problem is I have no idea what the settings are. If I go to edit in YAST and try to encrypt /dev/hda1 which the mount point is / it tells me i can not do it . I have a 100gig hard drive if anyone can tell me how to slice this up for a entire hard disk encryption that would be WONDERFUL. also is there anyway to make it so the only way it will boot the laptop is if my sandisk micro cruzer is installed?
